Ok now I don't want to crush anyones opinion of me but there was a time after I gave up flying when I would use wacky tabacky under extreme social pressure. I was looking in an Auto Trader magazine and saw an ad for a place in CT that sold new and used funeral cars. I called and talked to the gentleman and was shocked to find out how cheap they were. So I drove down and bought a 1978 Buick Hearse for $1800 with 55000 miles. Nice car. Drove home and resumed life. A couple days later my wife(who would not approve of this) was out of town and some "friends" of mine stopped by around 10pm. We went out to look over the car and had the brilliant idea to partaketh of his stash in the car. This we proceeded to do. Three guys crammed in the back of the hearse. Everything was poceeding just fine until we reached the point where you could not see from one end of the car to other. We decided to go back into the house. It is at his point that we realize..." There are NO door handles in the back of a hearse!". Panic soon ensued with the newspaper headline...Three youths found dead in back of hearse. Death car claims three more bodies. Coroner's report due tommorrow....running through my mind. There is no one else home, it's late at night....And of course the car is still filled with smoke which is not helping at all. Turns out the windows in this car were Lexxan. Oh goody But there was a guiding light! Between the front and back of the car was a Plexiglass divider. This proved not to be as durable as Lexxan. We got better. This car and I enjoyed many adventures. It was a fun car. I sold it to a young girl. She was going to take it cross country and write about her experience. Sadly a week later as she was returning home from dropping my plates and insurance card off ( I let her take them to get car home) (She was cute ;D ) she got rear ended at the only stop sign on US Route 1(which happens to be in Camden,ME). Some Japanese tourists hit her going 30 mph in a rented Jeep. They went to the hospital and the Jeep and the hearse went to the scrap yard. Rust in peace my friend we had fun
