Was working on my scooter over the weekend and noticed this loose wire (it's the yellow one). Not sure where it goes. It looks like it should connect to the nipple just to the right of where the green wire attaches, but I would have thought a tube of some kind would there. On the other hand, the yellow wire does have an odd connector on the end. Anybody have any thoughts? This is a 2007 People 250. Thanks-

It appears to go near the green wire. It looks like it could go there from the photo..

Yeah, it goes on the nub next to the green wire, it's a temperature or throttle position sensor.

That does look like the obvious spot...it just seemed liked I would be mixing electrical with mechanical since it's like a wire going into a nipple? Having no idea what this component is doesn't help either

ce - thanks, I'll try and re-attach it and if it appears to fit correctly, I"ll assume that's the spot. Do you think having it off would affect performance any, or is it just a cold weather starting aid? Thanks -

Good question John - I'll pay attention on the way home and see if it does!
