Yes, believe it or not, my dipstick flew out of the crankcase (or wherever it should be located) and my muffler got covered with oil. Luckily I made it home, smoking out my rear end the whole way, so now I need a replacement. The local motorcycle store doesn't have any "universals" but I'm wondering if it's the same as for the Yamaha Majesty everyone says the Linhai resembles? Has anyone else had to replace this little piece of plastic? I'm trying to get something local, today, so I can go out tomorrow. Thanks!

Go to the Yamaha shop and ask them or maybe give them a call. Wish I could help more

Hopefully you have a replacement by now. I just saw your thread. I have a Majesty and also a Linhai Mainstreet but have not tried switching the dip sticks, However I did screw in a dipstick for a 3.5 hp BriggsStration lawnmower to my Mainstreet and it fit just fine. The only problem I noticed was since it was at least an inch longer it would need to be cut off and a full mark filed into the plastic. The point is in an emergency I think any small Briggs lawnmower plug will work. (Added), My Majesty dip stick is twice as long, and also larger. The 250cc Morporlus might be closer.
