Hey everyone. I just got my 08 shenke its a 250cc ms and is a tone of fun to ride. i am a little concerned with the statr up speed. it takes a few seconds of the engine trying to turn over for it to speed up. is there anything i can do to make it start quicker? normally if i try gasing it a little it will start right up, but i am not sure if it is safe to gas the bike while trying to turn it on.
Thanks for all your help

If it take too many cranks, you may have a vacuum leak, check your intake clamps and vacuum connections, as its running use a spray bottle of (I use soak & water) on those connection, if there is a leak there your rpm's will go down. I had that trouble until I found the leak, now mine starts first or second crank. Another area to check is your spark plug cap, make sure its tight and check inside the cap, sometime that little wire can be pushed aside not making the right contact.
