Ignoring the fact that my screen door is open, you can see that I have no place to safely secure my scoot on my "porch." I use the term loosely for that slab of concrete. I'm already on good terms with the neighbors to the right. They have a derelict car. Wonder if I asked real nice, they'd let me chain her to that tire? In lieu of that, anyone else have issues like this (And thus solutions)? I don't want another stolen scoot. Attachments:

Ask if you can make an bracket and attach it to the wall. Put an Eye bole in the wall and chain it to the wall.

Get a Rottweiler and chain him to your front wheel. If your scooter is gone in the morning you can be sure your dawg stole it.

LOL, if the fee to have a dog wasn't more than what I paid for my bike including repairs, I would do it.
Now all I have to do is find someone with appropriate drilling equipment to knock an eye bolt in there and a good ass chain.
I miss our old shed. Made locking things up so much easier.

Go on to craigslist.com in your area, look for an electrician, plummer or an ac heating guy. Ask them if they are willing to drill a hole to mount a eye hook.

there are a number of things you can do. first you can get 5 or 6 concrete blocks and chain them all together and chain your scoot to that.
the eyebolt is another good idea, IF your landlord will go for it.
storing your scoot inside is a good idea too, IF your landlord will go for it.
in short, ANYTHING that weighs over 100 pounds will act as a decent "anchor".
i've kept my scoot outside with nothing but a chain run through the rear wheel for the last 3 years but my scoot weighs about 350 pounds.
try to keep your scoot covered when not in use.

If that is your car, (and you mostly use the scoot to get around) run a chain from the axle to the scoot, also get some type of alarm.

Any trees close by or a pole ? A guard dog may be a deterrent . There is alarms for scooters and some locks have them made in to themselves . I use these from our buddy Greg eshop.mainelyscooters.com/172-71.html they go through the rotor and prevent it from rolling . A friend of mine turned his hallway into a garage for his scooter with a large rubber mat to prevent damaging the floor and any oil leaks . You can get full coverage insurance on your scooter or renters insurance may be an option too . Look under the tips and tricks section as I have posted more tips and so have others for securing your scooter

Looks like that's a generally grassy area in the front there: get one of those crappy wooden 4x6 sheds. Build it over a hole in the ground, cut a hole in the floor of it, fill the hole with concrete, leave a loop of chain with both ends secured in the concrete hanging into the shed. Instant ground anchor and dry storage in one. It'll be enough of a pain in the arse for thieves they'll make a ton of noise trying to get it out.
