I'm about to put a new piston in my kymco super 9. My question is what pre mix ratio should I run during break in?

Well what ratio are you using now ? I would not use a full synthetic 2T at first since its slicker blended or oil with no synthetic ingredients . I started off my 2T with Maxxima synthetic blend for scooters since that is what the oil tank was filled with a my dealer gave me a full bottle at time of purchase . I bought a 2nd bottle around 600 miles and after than I used Bel Ray MC1 even though it was for premix only and not injector . I used it after I learned about it when I rode a Honda CR 80 and 125 and a trail buddy suggested I try it and NGK iridium instead of the standard one . I now use Motul 710 with ester and like it the best .
Did you have a piston seize as why you rebuilt it ? Did you remove the oil pump and plug up where it connected ? Same size piston and setup as before ?
With a 2T they are cold natured and should ALWAYS allowed for run for a bit to warm prior to riding more so in the winter . I was gentle on take off and did not max it out during the first 100 miles and focussed on riding in the midrange going slowly up and down through the RPM range like a midrange break in instead of a hard or soft break in . After a few hundred miles I could feel the piston was not tight as when new and after 1,000 it was in the sweet zone . If you get the RPMs up slowly let off the throttle as if you do not it will be hotter than with plenty of gas and oil to not only power it but also helps in cooling . That is why you see 2T racers bump the throttle a lil after hitting top RPM and then slow down to keep oil on the rings with fuel/oil flow

I just bought the scooter and got it home and rode it like 3 mile thne it burnt up. The scoot has a 70cc kit on it. So I got a new piston cleaned the cylinder up. I'm just need to know what to run 40 to 1 50to1 I just don't know. This is my first 2t scoot

What size carb and main jet does it have ? When you install a larger piston it will need a larger jet or betoo lean and burn up

If you are premixing use 32 to 1 for break in after that 40 to 1.

I'm not sure on the size of the carb. But it has a 75 in it witch seems a little small for the scoot.

Yes it should a 85 to 110 main jet so it will not burn up again
