Cigarette Lighter

Can I or how to wire a cigarette lighter on my 2009 Linhai Aeolus Classic Scooter. Would like to add a lighter but don't know if I can. If someone could tell me how to do it I would appreciate your help.

Forgot to say that it is a 260 CC Classic

Buy one of these and run from battery to location of choice. May need to take off plastic and drill to run to glove box. It's nice to keep under the seat just to recharge phone while riding.

rowdyc is right on. I'd just add that you should make sure to get one with an in-line fuse for safety. I bought something like this a while back on ebay and its worked out great.

Lots of people have done this in different ways. Some people get one that can be flush mounted on the plastic around the glove box after drilling a hole, some go in through the glove box itself. I just have mine off the battery in the underseat compartment and I let a wire run out from under the seat if I need to power something like my gps. good luck.

I been thking of adding something to charge my phone, thats a good idea not to mention if your a smoker you will also have a lighter on hand lol
