Trike was running for a while, then started getting hard to start, noticed fuel coming out of the overflow tube to the carb bowl. Took the bowl cover off, the float freely moves up and down, put the bowl back on and when I try to start the trike - gas starts dumping out of the overdrain tube?
It is getting spark,
Anyone?

Is there a petcock valve on it? It only starts dumping, when i try to start it.

Your scoot uses a vacuum petcock. The fuel line from the tank connects to this petcock. The petcock delivers gas when engine vacuum opens a diaphragm in the petcock. There is a vacuum line from the carb to petcock for this purpose. If you want to check to see if it is working, take the fuel line off the carb with the engine shut off and put the fuel line in a glass bottle or some gas proof container. Let the line sit for a bit and if your container fills, the diaphragm in the petcock is bad and the petcock needs replaced. Make sure the vacuum line from carb to petcock is tightly connected and not leaking air.

I would recheck the float valve in the carb for a piece of trash in the seat first.//Fido
