Hi everyone, I'm working on a custom project and using a 2006 CF Moto Fashion (Honda Helix clone) rear on it, but wanted to use larger wheels than the little 10" that's on the Fashion. From what I understand, the CF Moto V5 uses a very similar engine, so would it be possible to fit the 15" rear wheel onto the Fashion swingarm? If it will physically fit, what are some other considerations? Will the Fashion brakes fit on the V5 wheel? Will I need different rollers, etc. to compensate for the change in torque requirements?
Thanks!

The length of the CVT swing arm on the Fashion will be the deciding issue. I know you can make some spacers to raise the rear end for tire clearance. However, you can't lengthen the CVT swing arm. Successfully mounting a V5 wheels would likely require that you use the V5 fork and V5 CVT swing arm.

I'm assuming your only talking about the rear wheel because the romt wheel is an 18". In any case no it will not interchange. As wheelbender6 said the swing arm is much larger on the V5 and V3 bikes.

It will not fit without a whole load of fab work. The 10 inch wheel with tire just barely fits on the fashion. Not to mention you will have one hell of a gearing problem if it would fit.

Haha this is pretty funny. I forgot I wrote this back when I was researching using a Helix as a donor scooter for a Ruckus mod. I ended up getting the Helix and decided to make a custom project out of it instead. I was actually searching the forum here and almost responded to myself.
Anywho, thanks for the input, everyone! -~D~-
