It just whines. Sarter works changed cylinoid took off gear cover gears are all turning. When you try to start it it just whines and does not even try to turn over the engine. I have checked all the connections, fuses...etc. Not getting any compression at spark plug-plug looks good. Any ideals? ? Thanks

okay I just took off the black CVT cover. Should I take off the metal cover too. I can see a big bolt but I don't know what that goes too. I know it does not turn when I try to start it.

I took the gear cover off where the starter gears engage the other gears. They all turn but nothing is engaging the motor.

Check your ignition coil wire, about two months ago my scoot would not start, turned out to be the wire in the spark plug cap was pushed aside not making contact and the wire going into the cap was loose. check those connection at your regulator also and CDI.

I don't believe the variator or clutch will engage until the scoot is started

I guess this is how scooters reach their final resting spots. Don't have the knowledge or money to just keep buying different parts to see if thats it. Bummer-anyone live near simi valley,ca that wants a scooter cause I aint putting up with this very long lol
