I noticed a lot of you guys use UNI Air Filters in place of the stock filter. As my filter housing broke yesterday, what kind of uni Filter is suggested for a 150cc GY6 engine in a 2012 Cyclone? Also what size?

www.monstergy6.com has them. You'll need something to go between the carb and filter though. A lot of guys use a short velocity stack, but I used some of the rubber hose that was on the original filter setup. Grab a #110 main jet while you're at it. The UNI will take in more air and you don't want to run lean.

Another thing that you could do is use a disposable EMGO 43mm ID filter pod. You can get a hose at Home Depot that will fit over the end of the carburetor; clamp it on. Then put a piece of PVC into the hose and clamp it on the hose and then clamp the filter onto the PVC. I like the cheap and disposable EMGO filter because it is good for a year or two of riding and costs about $5. You don't have to wash/oil this thing and oiling a filter is probably one of the easiest ways to upset your air/fuel mixture as folks tend to be real generous with the squirt oil.
