Others have found restrictions in the exhaust right where it bolts to the engine and in their air intake box. They also use heavy roller weights to load down the engine and keep speed down.(Take those out and weight them then tell us what they weigh) Is this 2 stroke or 4 stroke version btw?..

If only going 32 then I think you have the washer limitier on it . Stock exhaust is restrictive too . A size or two up in a larger main jet will help some . Changing the roller weights can really improve things with lighter ones . My 2T would bury the 50 MPH speedo doing 45 with ease . But now its a screamer with BBK and pipe along with racing CDI

I love the yang yang exhaust sound . It helps to run premium gas , a NGK iridium BR8HIX spark plug and use synthetic 2T oil not the weedeater junk . So far I found Motul 710 the best but its 17 a quart and lasts from 500 to 700 miles depending on how fast I ride . When I had pedal mopeds at 14 the cheap 2T oil would leave a com trail behind me . My Magnum would hit 50 but really 45 at 8,000 RPMs with 5 gram rollers . It came with 6 grams . The CDI did not remove the fizzle above 8,000 RPMs as it was restricted by the exhaust port where my BBK is fully open . A BBK which is a larger piston kit will truly perk it up . Most have a 17.5mm carb where mine is 19mm . The Eton uses a 6 pin CDI at Scrappys where many use a 5 pin CDI like mine . I only know for sure cutting the green wire is ONLY for Adleys but may apply to some . DO NOT cut any wires , do the research More on variator restriction www.provoscooter.com/variator-deregulation and tuning here www.provoscooter.com/tuning If you have deep pockets then bolt this in www.spmotostore.com/Complete_engine_Stage6_R_T_70cc_ATV_p/s6-engine-16701.htm they have many high end parts as well. I am looking for a digital speedo since mine only registers 50 and the BBK goes beyond that . I have broken the speedo cable on level road dang it. How many miles are on it ? If alot then a new set of rings and gaskets may restore power if the rings are worn . Harbor Freight has a compression gauge for 20 bucks and it should be over 120 PSI depending on the compression ratio . Mine had 10.5 to 1 where some only 7 to 1 so compression would be least even when new. Exhaust really has an important role in performance on a 2T . Some are as low as 150 but can go up to 800 where the LeoVince and other good brands around 300 range . Here is a great write up on 2T exhaust selections . Will an unrestricted exhaust and a Uni airfilter , once rejetted ( larger main jets ) it will go faster . Will be doing a thread on my 2T once I finish testing jetsizes and make 150 owners want to get a scooter like mine

Hey guys I checked the variator and the exhaust as you guys said and still nothing no washers, nothing, I think it might be my cdi as my eton beamer is a 2006 that could be why it doesnt have the looping green wire. Any other ideas?
