Bought a used Peace-sport ruckus clone. Ran OK, changed oil and gear lube, adjusted the idle as it would start and slowly die, it would not idle. Got that fixed. Rode it several times just fine ( less than a half mile to work for the past week) and now it won't start. cranks but will not fire. what is next to check?

Spark plug.... Just had the samething happen to mine. I put in a new plug and now it fires right up. IMO, its the first thing I would try since its cheap, and since you just got it used you dont know how long that one has been in there.

Check the kill switch, very very frequently people have it engaged and don't realize it... might cure the no starting issue

Kill switch button is not on there( that way when bought, well the switch is still there, the button is not). is it normally open or shorted, I can jumper or remove to make certain.

Yeah, Yeah, Yeah. should of checked it first. Had 12 volts across the battery, over the past three days, it cranked less and less. Replaced the battery and it started just fine. NOW....lights waver with the throttle. Is this a charging issue? If so, how do I check that?
