Taking a page from the CFMOTO playbook, I'd like to announce that we will soon become... The Largest #1 CFMOTO Dealer in the US It is our intention to purchase many containers of scooters,... some day, ...eventually, ...in the not too distant future.

So... what side of the bed did you get out of this morning?
After reviewing our 2 years as a dealer I must say that I don't think anything they ever told me really happened.
The Jetmax was a product 3 years ago that never happened. I remember the fall meeting to be held in Arizona where they were to show all the new products including the jet skies.
We had parts on order for 3 to 8 months and they never could tell us when we would get them.
By the time they finally get their act together it may be too late for them. We are a small industry and people don’t take risk’s with companies that are doing what CFMOTO is doing to all their dealers and customers. They don’t have anything that the industry doesn’t already have.
And their reputation is going down the tubes.

Wondering if I should print out all the posts and fax them to the headquarters. I see your "concept" Cookies. I've mentioned to Roxanne that I refer to this site for industry news and help. Katherin sent me the default parts software but it doesn't open so if I do need parts I'd have to describe what I need to a dealer. This is pathetic. When I first bought the bike, (its actually a qlink commuter) everybody on this site said "its one of the better brands" and now its come to this. Just ridiculous

No, unfortunately the dealership agreement with CFMOTO forbids any and all dealers from drop-shipping. Inter-webs sales are restricted to fully prepped and assembled scooters, irregardless of their stock availability.
Just keep waiting for it.
We'll be there soon....
Right around the corner....
Just down the block...
Anytime now....

Just save some room for our new scooters. They will all get 360 mpg and have a top speed of 128 mph. The warranty will cover every single part on the scooter, screws included. ALso all damage to plastics done due to customer negligence will be covered. Warranty process is simple. Just pay to have the scooter shipped back to China in original packaging and we will replace any damaged parts free of charge. There may however be a delay of no more than 15 years before the scooter will be ready for you to pick up on the dock in Shang Hai.

Guys, When it is all said and done who do you think will be left standing other than the big 4?
Kymco and Sym?
In my short 4 years in the business I have lost count of the ones that have not made it or have given up.

I really like Linhai, and I really like Ron Ho. Now if we could just drag him into the 21st Century.
I think that their scoots and atv's are some of the better scoots coming out of China.
I understand that Ron is on the board of directors of Linhai China. He needs to bite the bullet and drastically discount the remaining scooters in his US inventory and bring in the 12's and 13's.
He really needs to step up and eat CFMOTO"s lunch. He could do it. He will need to hire some reps and establish a dealer network. Of course, it's very easy to spend some else's money. But, boy....is the time right.

Parts haven't been a problem for us, but maybe we've been lucky. But you got to admit, they make a pretty nice scoot.

Hey Cookies,
I also like the Linhai but we need responsive reps that send what you need when you need it or it just ruins the rep of the brand.

Well I used did. They used to have a guy neamed Eric who was fantastic. Always got back to you right away and got answers when you needed them. He left a couple years ago. Then there was a young lady working there that used to call me back most of the time. Then the service just got worse and worse until finally there was no response at all. So yeah I had a rep way back when. Ron was always great too. Anytime I spoke to him, things got done. I hope they can make a comeback. I really want a good 250cc unit to sell.
Point is you have to take care of your customers. If you do that well they will stick with you most of the time even if things get rough for a while or you run out of a product and they have to wait. They even learn that it is not always price that is king. We consistently get dealers back who spoke to us when first opening up but ended up buying from Scooter Depot etc..... because they were "cheaper" After a year selling "cheap" scooters they are happy to pay an extra $100/unit to get units that are assembled, run, not missing parts, actually have a warranty, have good quality and are able to get parts for them.
