Yeah, first shipment came in about a month ago. Personally I'm not a fan so I haven't started selling them at our shop.

Personally I'm not a fan... Hey Greg - any particular objective reason you're not a fan... or is it just a "style" thing you don't like? I find I tend to lean towards the utility/off-road capable/durable bodywork style of scoots, myself. Bob

I think the two off-road style headlights on a city vehicle are as dumb as using a Hum-Vee in city traffic.

I find that the most appealing aspect. lots of small debris gets throw up while riding behind other vehicles on city roads even more so then while offroad and those should help protect the headlamps from any damage.

Out of all the Tao Tao's on the market the zuma clones are the best I've worked with so far. The tires are probably my favorite part on the bike aside from the racing stripe seats lol.

Clearly the best pictures of them out there on the internet. Any idea what kind of speeds they go up to? I am looking into one for a 9.3 mile commute on roads with mainly 45 mph speed limits and moderate traffic. Think it would be a good choice?

They have really nice throttle response and could do 45 all day and extra. I haven't taken one on the road yet and our parking lot in the back isn't big enough to get an accurate max speed but it climbs up nice and smooth. I'd buy one for myself but if I get anymore vehicles I'll need a dealer license

They are having a Labor Day sale this weekend, selling them for rather cheap with a full PDI and a helmet. Trying to decide if I want to make the drive down to Dallas and pick one up. I'd have to rent a truck or trailer.

You wouldn't be disappointed with one of those scoots. Another thing I liked about them is the dust cover for the front brake rotor. They also come with handlegrip fenders but I didn't put those on the ones I PDI'd.

Looking like this one is what I'm going to be picking up. I just can't pass up on the deal. I'll have to look into how much it is to rent a pick up truck for a day.

A heads up on those models, they are not plastic friendly at all. The seat buckets dont come out like most scooters so removing the side plastics is a must if you need to access the better portion of the engine. Other then that they're alot of fun.

I think the two off-road style headlights on a city vehicle are as dumb as using a Hum-Vee in city traffic. You can see even the tires are offroad. Eventhough this bike can be used in the city, I believe it's made to go through forests, dirt/grind roads, and grassy planes.

Besides for under $100 one could put street tires on, no big deal. What's dumb is people condeming a product that they have never sit on and know nothing about.

I can only presume they will perform like most 150cc scoots out there, meaning top speeds ~60-65MPH, good and peppy acceleration (especially with those smaller wheels). My 50cc scoot accelerates just like a regular car would accelerate from a red light. My 260 accelerates faster than cars, at 25% of the throttle, 50% throttle leaves most cars behind. The 150 scoots should be similar, especially because they're almost 100LBS lighter than my 260cc.

Very few 150cc scooters top 65MPH without major mods. Most ride good in the 55 MPH range.
