I found myself a REALLY nice scooter(Sunny Kingring 49cc) Anyway, I have test ridden it(it's used, but I went riding with the guy on the scooter(he rode another one) and took me up to a little higher a speed too(I was afraid to go over 20mph, however, not enough practice on a scoot yet IMO, but good thing I at least brought my bicycle helmet)! It sounds great, and has a few minor scratches(he adopted it from a place that used to rent it out so it had great maintenance). The only actual labor it needs(that I can tell) is a new headlight. The bulb is burnt out for whatever reason. My main problem is finding a place to ORDER parts. I might be able to buy them from B&M stores, but one problem, it's too late to call around and see if they actually can(well there is one place I know of but it's about 50 miles away via non-scooter roads; ouch!) I have found this site: sunnyparts.com/index.php/browse-by-model/50cc-moped-scooters/mc-jl4b/headlight.htmlBut it doesn't appear they have an option to buy these parts. I would like the ability to buy them from a reliable site, and while I do have a B&M store that's been in business for a while, better safe than sorry. PS, it has a clean title and such, and it's right in my local price-range $500. :3 And I'm totally fine with doing cheap repairs fairly often(a "con" of Chinese scoots, I hear, but I want to learn my way around engines anyway).

If it a Sunny type scooter..check with Greg at Mainely scooters...or scrappydogscooters...or any of the above banners...they are all members of the forum...great reputation....very helpful..and excellent service.. Regarding the site you mentioned..stick with U.S. based businesses...as you may end up waiting 30+ days for 1 part from overseas. Those of us that buy wholesale...buy in bulk..so we get it faster from overseas..then 1 single part because it brings them little money..so they put it on a 'Slow Boat from China'.. Also beware!! There are numerous bogus parts sites on the web...so click the links above for a reputable source...

Thanks! I'm glad to have a reliable source now! It's kinda a sunny scooter. The brand is Kingring and he model is a Sunny but also an MC_JL4B. I will note that I can't figure out which bulb to get specifically, however, but they are bookmarked. I've been trying to figure it out, but i have no clue. I'm a machinist, not a mechanic... yet) ;_______; Do you have tips for those whom have never ordered parts for things online before?

Take bulb out....post a pic..and then the forum folks here can tell ya what ya need. As for tips about online ordering...not sure what you mean...I suggest ordering from the people with banners above here..they would not be allowed up there if they were bad..they are placed there....not just a 'pop up'.....like you see when web surfing..they are legitimate dealers...

I meant like ordering any replacement parts I'd need off the internet to be shipped to my house. I haven't bought it yet(my dad and I took my car as opposed to his car+trailer in case it wasn't what the craigslist posting really advertised. So tonight or tomorrow morning we're going to seal the deal and do the title transfer and I'll give him the cash, and all that jazz) so I can't take the bulb out at the moment, but I will post a picture once I get it. Thanks everyone!
