My 08 Linhai Aeolus 300 scooter started acting up about a month ago by running fine until it was warmed up and then started flooding during acceleration off stop signs/lights. I have looked through the forums and I have switched out the coil, spark plug and the CDI but now it has gotten to the point that it will only run for 30 sec before I have to wait for it to cool down again. I was thinking maybe the fuel filter next? I am new to this and don't know how to check all of these things. Attachments:

I'd clean the carb/jets if it was mine.

I'd check to make sure your enricher (auto-choke) is working, when you first start your scooter the enricher allows more gas to come in your carb unto it is warmed up, then it shuts off that extra gas, if its working properly it should be warm to hot to touch after your scoot is warmed up and it stays hot unto you shut scoot off. r u sure it's flooding? Could be vacuum leak going to fuel pump, or bad fuel pump leading to fuel starvation. When mine did that, it was a small tear in the vacuum line at the fuel pump.

Ok so I'll give an update now, I have since cleaned the carburetor in which case that would be my next guess as well. The only problem is it will only stay running for approx 15-20 before it dies now with either cdi I have. During this time the auto choke does get warm too. Where can I find the fuel pump and I have been having a Hell of a time trying to get the storage compartment off from under the seat. I have taken out all of the bolts and screws but it just will not come out of there so I have been doing all of my work from the sides or the bottom.
And would it be a fuel pump issue if it still will start and every time I clean the carburetor it is still filled with fuel?

And how about this to add to the situation. I have noticed I am getting a lot of blowback in the air filter. Could this be the issue? Not getting a tight enough seal on the piston causing the motor to shut off?

Taking the seat tub off the first time is a real pain. It will be easier after you do it once. Remove the cover from the gas tank lid, so you can get to the hydraulic cylinder that keeps the seat pushed up when you open it. Remove the cotter pin and then slide it off. Take off the 8-ish bolts under the seat and 2 screws and you should be able to lift the whole seat tub off (of course, you'll have to have taken off the side panels first). I usually just rock it back and set a board under it to keep it propped up.
I hope to tear into mine again to get to the fuel lines and fuel filter in the next couple of days to try and solve my problem of conking out after a few minutes of riding.

Fuel pump on mine (if i remember correctly) was up under the left-side floor board.
