Watch out for 'Scooter Kings' in Wilmington, NC. I've heard some bad things about them but decided to give them a try. I dropped my scooter off Friday evening for a wiring check. They said it'd be ready Saturday afternoon at the LATEST. It's now Monday, around noon time, and I just called again (had already called Saturday and they said 'Oh, we just started') to check on the status of it. Apparently, they JUST rolled it in the mechanic's area and took it apart. Awesome... They lied to me 2 days ago. I need it for work and they've held it 3 days now for a small little thing.
Real dirty/unorganized place too. Not even joking. Not just like a normal greasy workshop. It's BAD. And bad customer service/shop time.
Sorry for the rant, I hope that's not too long. I just thought I'd voice my opinion. I should have listened to everyone that told me about that place, but I decided to give them a try.

Thanks for letting us know. I have done a ride out there, and plan to do more. If you come across any other yay/nay shops, please let us know.

Also I forgot that all of their scooters in there are horrible and are WAY overpriced.
I finally just got my scooter back. The wiring problem was fixed, but now it feels like they took off my performance clutch and put on a stock one. I can't find out because I don't have an impact wrench. If they did, I'm going to raise holy hell up there. I've ridden long enough with that clutch to know how it feels and exactly when it engages, and it feels nothing like it right now. I could just be being paranoid and LOOKING for problems, but I don't think so. I'll let you dawgs know if I find out they did. I'm gonna FREAK.

Stator was bad. Hot wire somehow/somewhere. Draining power from the battery endlessly. I would have to charge my battery for a long time just to start my scoot. Every time I shut it off I'd have to charge it again. Even if it was just off for a second. It's okay now.
And yes, I will let you all know about my clutch. I really hope they didn't. It will be bad for them if they did.

Well guys, sorry to keep you waiting. I forgot I had made this thread But no, the swindler didn't take me performance clutch. The scooter just felt a lot different with my new pulley system on it. I wasn't used to it. My old one was slightly warped. Everything has been fine the past 2 weeks. Just doing random tinkering here and there. Waiting for my new stock clutch springs and some new sliders to get here in the main on Wednesday. My RPM's are too high and I'm tuning the CVT system to get me back into the power band.
