i have a helix clone scooter. i was thinking of getting a 350cc cylinder kit and installing it to my bike. has anyone done this and if so did it really help? i expect decreased mileage but i want better acceleration. i have an 87 helix years ago and that bike would accelerate way faster than this bike. but because this was a brand new bike i though it was because it was new. now after 3500 miles it still is the same. so i thinking that a 350cc engine will have more power that a 250cc engine. what is the though here. thanks for the help?. bob p.

awful little wheels on that Helix clone for that kind of power. The parts supply situation right now with CF-MOTO (Helix clone maker) is abit questionable. I'd lean toward just getting a bigger bike. Newer bikes with fuel injection have more performance and the mileage in most cases is better. Regardless hope things work for the better for you. Chris
