hello every one, does anybody knows where do i disconect the remote alarm, and what it looks like on a mc54-250,

You need t oremove the windshield and front cowling. On mine it was a small black box about 3"x3"x3/4". It has a harness of about 1000 wires (maybe not that many) pluged into it. I never actually disconnected mine but I would think all you have to do is pull out the plug test if everything works normally and your good to go. Be careful putting the windshield back on so you don't over tighter the screws and cause a crack.

thank you bob, i have see it, but i was not sure, i had to replace the front light, so since i had that taken down, i want to disconnect the alarm, kill two birds one stone, thanks again

I never had a problem with mine and found it worked very well once I adjusted the sensitivity down. If I turned it on in the garage and my wife closed her car door the alarm went off. But it was fine after I adjusted it. And I only made the mistake of starting the bike once from the remote. Bob
