Ok just bought a used tomberlin rcx250. Engine sounds great but I havent been able to find anyone with any iformation on where to get parts! Definately needs a new muffler but I want to put a better muffler on it than what it currently has. (lil rectangular black thing that not only looks like crap but has a tiny exaust port) The oil drain plug is stamped with gy6 but I havent been able to find any other markings to tell me what kind of engine it is. Does anyone else have a clue where I can look? The owners manual rates it at 244cc which would make me think Helix clone. But the actual tomberlin dealers classify it as a cn250. Dont believe they are the same engine are they? Well if anyone has a clue and can help me out, I am definately in the market for a new muffler, new clutch and roller weights. Could also use some help with adjusting the rocker shaft in and exaust dials.
