just got a znen L roar 250 scooter and found out that it didn't come with a thermostat. Is that normal? Ive been having overheating problems and now when I give it gas radiator fluid shoots out of the reserve tank and onto me I bought a new radiator cap thinking that it was bad but same problem. Could it be because there is no thermostat in the cooling system slowing down the water circulating? Trying to sell this piece asap but i need it to run right first!! I also have a genuine buddy 125 and I love it ;D no problems

Yes, it needs a thermostat in place for the cooling system to function properly.
