I can’t wait! I bought the yellow one and got a trunk with working lights. Any advice?
I plan on riding it 10 miles a day to work (no interstate) and on some weekend adventures to the North Georgia mountains. I live in Gwinnett County, GA if anyone else is interested in riding someday.
I got: Got motorcycle Insurance. 6' masterlock cable 2 helmets Yellow reflector vest

change the radiator fluid, unless your getting it from a dealer that has done it for you, change the gear oil, change the engine oil when changing the radiator fluid you'll want to burp the coolant to get air bubbles out yeah i'm sure where ever you bought it they did'nt tell you this..but your on the right board to get help with the linhai 300 there is plenty of experienced owners here

Are you enjoying your scooter?
Also, I did the motoman break-in when I got mine, you can search it on the forum. Some say it's controversial... so read up and draw your own conclusions. I've had no problems and am happy with my scooter (got in May).

Enjoy!
The only thing I like less about a new bike, is you can't open throttle it the first 300 miles or so (at least not max speed). Drive carefully not exceeding 30-35MPH the first 100 miles. Change oil, then drive like a king for another 200 miles, before changing oil again.
I changed motor oil 3 times before hitting 300 miles, and in all of them there where metal flakes in. Don't overdo it in the beginning!

Hey brucedowns, I'm in Duluth. If I can ever get my Linhai running again I might join you for a ride to Helen where the bikers can laugh at our scoots. No spark on mine right now, and haven't had time to deal with it because of my wife's health problems. Hopefully soon... but enjoy the new scoot!
