Looking for a parts seller who sells parts specific to the Icebear 150cc trike... lots of generic parts sellers out there but to find a muffler that fits this trike is almost impossible. Anyone know of a part seller who can sell me a muffler which seems to be unique to the 150cc Icebear trike?

I sent him an email about a week ago asking about the muffler and didn't get a response. In fact, I have emailed several "Icebear" dealers and gotten no response. I also emailed Icebear directly and got no resonse. Something to consider if you are considering an Icebear product... I know they are also sold under various other names and perhaps these other retailers are better at the parts business?

Call him 715-825-3710 , I know he will be more than happy to help you any way he can. I will give him a call in the morning and give him a heads up that you are trying to contact him. You should try to email him again just to double check.

He frequents this board all the time. Since he hasn't responded might mean he's out of town.

Did you send an email directly to my email address or did you send it by the contact page on my site? The contact page on www.rapidrepair.webs.com is limited to 30 emails a month and some folks try to send their info 3 or 4 times and this eats up the limit, so your info may not have gone to me. I am working to fix that. Best to contact me at rapidrep@hotmail.com. As far as Ice Bear not answering your email, they are wholesale only but, normally forward customer requests to dealers like myself. I do know that Ice Bear (Ca) has mufflers on back order for the 150s. The last 5 they got in last week went to fill backorders. I have 2 on back order myself. If you want one placed on back order I need the year and model of your trike and your contact information. Jim/Owner Rapid Repair

Thanks for getting back to me on this question. I can't recall how I emailed you but it may well have been through your website. The first exhaust broke because the headpipe is not bent at the correct angle and this puts a bunch of pressure on the welded brace that attaches to the frame. The welds on the bracket both broke for this reason. The muffler was attached when I bought the trike and the PO said the internals came loose (probably because the bracket that secured the muffler to frame) were rattling on the inside and he just cut the end off (at rear) and gutted the can. With the can on, it is noisy and with the can removed, it is obnoxious. Does the muffler come stand alone or do you need to buy it with a new head pipe? I am afraid a new muffler would only break because of the bad bend on the original head pipe. If I both parts, will they fit properly and hold up? I can always cut the tack welds on the original can and stuff it with fiberglass and weld it back up and hang it... I would never rely on the original bracket as it would only break if I tried to reweld it. Any help would be appreciated....
