I have a SUNL 250 scooter. Just found that the temp gauge goes very high (full scale) after about 10 minute riding.
Checked the coolant and engine oil. Does not have the milk shake in the oil. The fan kick in when it is hot. Once the fan kicks in, the temp drops a little bit (3/4 scale).
Is this normal for this scooter?

Many of these scoots come with defective temp sending units, take out yours and take it to an auto parts store. They can match up one and I bet your high reading goes to normal. That's what happened to my friends Roketa MC54B. Search temp sending unit and you will find my post from a couple of years ago.

Thanks.
That is what I think. Will replace the thermostat.

they all work same across the board, you have more than likely got a bad sending unit. Cheap easy fix!
