Just got YY250 yesterday. Filled and charged battery overnight on low 2 amp setting. Turn the key, front end is dead. No power to entire nose, console, dash, or key. Any ideas on where to look and what to look for? I did take each of the 10 amp fuses out anc checked them but all look good. Also, there is a red fused wire that in black shrink wrap. Assumtion here, I see red wire and connect it to positive on battery? Thanks for any help.

Small red wire if located at the battery is probably your Ignition switch positive cable and needs to be connected to run your instrumentation. The large red wire at the battery is just connected to the starter solenoid.

The large red wire at the battery is just connected to the starter solenoid. Also there is more than likely a cheap a$$ glass fuse in that line that should be banished from your system. Modified: REPLACED with a blade style fuse. Not just taken out and thrown in the trash or it will definitely not get power.

Check your ground wire where it connects to the frame. You will probably fins that it is bolted to a painted surface. Sand off the paint under the wire and reconnect. There may also be an interlock that prevents the starter from working unless you apply the brake. Mine had a bad brake switch and I thought the battery was dead until I noticed the light wasn't coming on. Invest $10 in a multi meter and check some of the connections.

Correct...it is for the ignition and lighting.....the black shrink tube over it...confuses most..and they hook it up to the negative terminal..the fat red red one just goes to the starter solenoid as you said... So check that and do what Overreved said..
