i have a 2005 vento trition r4 with just over 1000 miles when i first got the bike(had 500 miles) i could go solid 45-50 now i cant go much past 45 at wot it seems like the motor or my drive system is acting up it will feal like it is slightly disengaging then catching back up and ingauging again it will alternate inguaging and disengaging the sound of the motor doesn't change but i can feal it
what do ou think

Time to pop the CVT cover off and check out the belt rollers and clutch. Wile

what should i check for?? flat spots on rollers and clutch pads and heavely worn belt??

You got it Bro, make sure your belt does not show seperation and or frayed on the sides if so put on a new belt before it breaks on you and causes you grief. The clutch look for really worn down pads, glazed pads springs intack, nothing broken off on the clutch. Then you can put a drop or two of oil where the arms swivel and meet metal to metal with a screwdriver work them in and out to make sure they are not binding. If the pads are glazed you can rough them up using sandpaper or just scraping them. The Variator check for flat spots worn down plastics guides, the pulleys I use degreaser to clean them but you can use anything that is NOT OIL BASED, you do not want them to be slippery.
