Ordering a BBk kit for my CN250 engine. Was wondering if you need a special tool to pull off the stator magnetic gold bowl looking thing lol. I accidentally dropped the cam chain in the crancakes also. Would i be able to accesss it after i pull the magneto gold bowl thing? Has anyone ever intalled a bbk on this engine? Was there a noticeable increase? I just about have everything town down.

You would have to split the crankcase for access to the cam chain in the bottom end. I would suggest a coat hanger bent at a 90degree angle at the end, making about a 1/4" tip to reach down into the bottom end to snag the chain and pull it back up.

Yeah i split the cases already. Part of the reason was that i need to reseal the motor bexause of an oil leak. Also how do i remove the piston circlips. Do i need a speacial tool?

They probably make a tool for it but I wouldn't buy it. You can just pick at the circlip to pull it out of it's seat, with a dental pick or something like that. If there is a little room behind the clip, it would probably be easier to push one end of the clip out of the groove. Once out of the groove it comes right out.
