Hi,
My SUNL 250 scooter had another problem.
Just changed a tail light bulb yesterday. It cranked ok and started fine.
However, I was not able to start the scooter this morning. It cranked but did not start.
The battery is new.
I smell some gas when I was not able to start the engine. The crank sounds very strong but the engine just did not start.
Thanks

Make sure the kill switch is in the "run" position. Does the brake light come on when you squeeze the handle? Check for spark. Pull the spark plug, re-insert it into the cap and hold the metal end of the plug against the engine while hitting the start button. See if it sparks.

Thanks for the help.
It seems that the spark plug was somewhat loose. I tighten the wire and the scooter can be started now.

It is an easy process, I bought this at my local yanaha shop, make sure it has the brass cup inside, then unscrew the boot off your ignition coil and screw this new spark plug cap on, when tight tape it Attachments:
