To use this method, click the "reply" button near the bottom right of the page. Here are some screen shots for adding a picture here. I did these for a different forum I'm on but it is nearly identical as here. Sorry I thought we had a tutorial for his here. You need to upload/host your photo on a service like photobucket or tinypic, there are other places out there. I don't like photobucket much because some people post from photos there and do not know that some of their files you have to log in there to see and it just does not work for everybody. If a photobucket account goes dormant the pictures are dead after a while too.

That is why I really do not recommend photobucket, it just screws up sometime with some of its stuff. Notice that you have, s1067.photobucket.com/albums/u437/prizmm/?action=view¤t=prizmms150.jpg, inside the first set of [] it needs to follow that and be before the next set of [] []HERE[] even so, I tried to edit your post and that photobucket file is not going to show. if you use tinypic it gives you code you can post to make it show, never has failed for me.

The problem with that attempted test link is it is not actually linking to an image but instead a page with an image on it. it's a photo bucket thing. . You should link to the image directly and get

Why not just attach the picture right here? A lot easier than going to an external pic hosting site, and like you said, if the user deletes their account on the hosting site, or it becomes inactive, there won't be red x's all over the forum. Test: Attachments:

Why not?
You can if you only want to post a single photo, more than that and you need another post. The other method lets you put several photos in one post if you want.
Those red X's are always from inactive photobucket accounts.

Yea if you want to post more than one pic, but other than that, uploading directly to the forum as an attachment is the way to go.
