Anybody know of a service manual for the mc54b that has the rear wheel with all the seals and the shaft from the clutch to the rear wheel.

Whats the problem? I have the mc-54-250b roketa scooter  Which one do you have 257 linhai/yamaha clone or 244 honda/cfmoto clone? |

Hi richardthescooter1, I have the Mc54B 257cc roketa scooter. The problem I am having is that the rear is leaking into the right side of the wheel. not the left side where the clutch is and where the rear oil seal go's. The man who I took it to said that there is a bearing where the shaft comes through the housing on the right side.and it looks like that is where it is leaking. He said that if he had a manual that maybe he could fix it without tearing everything apart.

The bearing on the right side is in your swing arm, which holds your tire on, they are a sealed bearing, have you taken off your cover to look inside the variator/clutch area? there are two bearing in this section, one behind the variator and another behind your clutch. I just wondering if you have a leak coming from another area, thats leaking on that bearing?

The problem I am having is that the rear is leaking into the right side of the wheel. not the left side where the clutch is and where the rear oil seal go's. on the 244 there is an oil seal inside the final drive. if this seal is damaged it will cause oil to leak out of the right side. there are other reasons for this leakage, a cracked case for example. removing the wheel will tell you where the oil is coming from. you will have to disassemble the final drive to replace the oil seal. this oil could also be coming from the crankcase vent hose. |

Hi all, Thanks for the info. I know where the leak is. and all need is a manual so the guy that who is doing the work can do it quicker I am paying by the hour dose anybody know where i can get one.

Down load the 250cc yamaha majesty manual, Its pretty close to what you have.
