Hey everybody, I am new to this forum so I apologize in advance if I am putting this thread in the wrong section. Anyway, today I went looking around for scooters and I decided I am just going to go for a cheaper scooter in the $1000-$1300 range (after taxes/registration fees). I came across a Peace Sports 50cc scooter that I would get a good deal on and it would be about $300 cheaper than the GMW Eco 49cc scooter, but I have received many more (positive) reviews about the GMW and have heard very little about the peace sports. Any input on both these scooters would be appreciated, thank you.

I'm a student at University of Florida in Gainesville so I will only be using this to get around campus.. it only needs me to last 3 years but one of the dealers I talked to said the peace sports wouldn't last that long, but I think she was trying to just get me to buy a more expensive scooter

If you're a student at UF, come stop in our shop. www.RoadRatMotors.com, we are just 4 miles north of campus - our scooters are made at the same factory as GMW but they have a lot more upgrades. Ask for Jason or Justin, we'll take care of you. Go Gators!

A delear offered a group discount to me and two of my friends so that the peace sports will be just under 1000 out the door when we buy them together so I think I'm doing that, and if my friends back out then I will visit roadrat! But thanks for all the input guys

Not a problem... I wish you the best of luck with the Peace if that's what you choose to do. Before you buy, do your research online of the dealers you are looking at buying from. $1,000 for a Peace scooter is pretty high considering you can get much better scooters in Gainesville that will be significantly better in quality, durability, and warranty and aren't much different in price.
We have the Bintelli Sprint that is $999 and it includes motobatt battery, ngk spark plug, gates belt, stainless steel exterior hardware, halogen lights, deni carburetor, and a 2 year limited warranty. Every component on the Bintelli scooters are significantly upgraded, so for a similar price, it's a better investment. Bring your friends to the store and we'll work something out so we can get you on a quality scooter.

Not a problem. Look forward to meeting you and showing you and your friends the differences in quality and craftsmanship between the brands.

If I were a UF Student I wouldn't even bother with anything but the Bintelli. With the home dealership right in your back yard, well... that just makes too much sense to pass up. Matt

If I had a shop I would tell you to stop over to Jacsonville. Unfortunately we are just distributors and mostly sell scooters to dealers. All ours are ZNEN built too. Better quality than Peace by far. We have many dealers who have switched fro Peace to our even though they are more expensive. Be happy to sell you one right out of the warehouse but allmine are factory fresh and need to be prepped. If you want a prepped one then go and see the Bintelli guys, I'm sure they will great.

When I was younger I dated a few girls that lived a long ways away. When it was all said and done the girls in my back yard won my heart… because they were there when I missed (needed) them and not hundreds or thousands of miles away. It’s funny how a scooter can be like a girl at times.

I bought a Peace (Bashan) 50cc scoot from Green Earth scooters.com $679 shipped to my apartment. I did the PDI myself.. Cheapest way to go if you can handle the set up/assembly and maintenance.
Green guys are awesome! Very good buying experience and LOVE my noo scoot!
