Hi All, I was riding today and after about 25min I was sitting at a light waiting my turn when suddenly the bike just shutoff. I tried to restart it and nothing. I pushed it over to a parking lot and tried to start it. Still nothing. I see I have power but no noise whatsoever from the starter or the motor. It's like if I was hitting the e Ectrical start but not pulling the break.
Do you guys have any ideas wha this could be? I had to leave it a cemetery parking lot so I would like tot it out of there soon.

Did you check your CDI, check all connections, could be a loose ground wire or a bad CDI.

I just got back from going to check on it. There is no power. The dash lights don't come on when the key is in the ON postion.
Thanks

Have you checked your fuses? The main one is on the Red wire coming off the battery. Now some 250s also have a Fuse box with about 6 fuses protecting different items on the scoot. But the main one is on the RED CABLE WIRE if that goes you have nothing. Wile

I checked it the main (beside the battery) and it looked ok but it could be loose. I will check it agin and make sure it not blown or loose. But that's exactly right. I have nothing.

Get a cheap probe like this and ground the wire and probe the wire AFTER the fuse if the proble lights the fuse is good. If you have a Volt meter you can see if the battery has some voltage if it is below 12 it is toast. You can also test if it is something in the wireing up front, JUMP the RELAY(Solenoid) if it spins your starter then something down the line from the battery is bad. Jumping the Solenoid is sending the juice straight from the battery to the starter bypassing everything else on the scoot. They are usually under 5 bucks and are great to test things on a scoot. Wile

Hi all, mystery solved! It was in fact the main fuse. It looked good and it tested good ( one leg was cracked). I replaced the fuse and she came to life. To Wile a great big bone!!! I was worried about it being parked dead at an ol'cemetary.
Thank you all and I hope to contribute to this site soon

FANTASTIC!!! Easy fix, now carry some extra fuses. And when you have some time change that cheap glass tube holder to an automotive one and are waterproof, like this: Ride safe Wile

Ill change it out as soon as I can. I wanna know why it blew. The vibrations may be why it blew. Yesterday was the fastest I had riden it at right about 65.
Thank you again!

I've had my Aeolus 300 about 2 months now. Shortly after I was licensed for it and started riding it- it seemed to studder at a stopsign and die. I started it back up and it ran fine. That night though, I found I had no lights. Turned out that the cheap chinese fuse for that circuit was the culprit. Upon making a daytime trip to the auto store and buying good ones, I changed it out.
The cheap chines fuses (even the good ones I had (a baby or powder blue color) 'rattle' when you shake them...
I don't know if the engine dying had anything to do with the fuse blowing, but I do know that I have not had a problem since I swapped out the fuse for the circuit with a good one, and I now carry spares that match all the sizes on the scooter.
