I have a New 300cc Tornado with less then 300 miles on it and the rear deck is cracking by the mounting screws. Does anyone have a idea how to stop this from getting worse? I have tried the bigger washer setup and thick undercoat but is has not slowed it down. I was going to put diamond plate strips on but I have rubber grommets that go through the deck. When you take the grommet out there is a bigger hole then the screw. I can't put the plate over the rubber grommet because then it does not fit flush. I have thought about using Dyna Mat which is stuck on the inside of the cars quarter panals so they don't vibirate so bad with the bass. It's like a thick tar paper and fly paper. Any other ideas out there would help, Thanks

Several members have had good luck sanding the back side of the plastic and using PVC cement(pipe glue) to glue pieces of plastic clothes hangers to the cracked area. The glue kind of melts the hangers to the plastic making it thicker and stronger. Of course, you'll still have to repair the painted side and paint it.

NAPA sells a 2 part epoxy made for plastics that works very well.
