A short review of a few dealers in the grand rapids, mi area:
Scooters to Go. I bought my Tao Tao T3 from them. Had some issues and got it fixed from them... Was a huge fan of them until recently. A different Dealer discovered the wobbly rear rim and posted about it, and the people at STG STILL deign a issue, even after they REPLACED mine because of the wobbly rear rim... lost a lot of respect, in fact i....
... went to work for Grand Rapids Scooter because they provided excellent customer service, and have tried to recall all their T3's and replaced the rims out of their own pocket... This shop opened because the owner went to Scooters to Go and also bought a T3, and was treated with no customer service.. basically he was asked 'what color' did he want..
Fox Powersports is where I bought a 2013 Aprilia SR50 and paid way too much... got it with 1 mile on it (Should have been a flag to me). 23 miles later that day it died... Long story short, I got my money back, and the GM Rick said he "hates" scooters and wished they would not sell them because "We don't make any money and it ties up a Tech." Nice one.

evidently Tao Tao has a defect in their manufacturing....if there are several documented issues with wobbly rims, then it should be replaced at the expense of Tao Tao USA. I wouldn't hesitate to contact the NHSTA to report Tao Tao as this is a safety issue.... www.nhtsa.gov/

In the last 3-4 years there have been quite a few scooter dealers popping up for a year or two in the Grand Rapids area, only to disappear suddenly. They mostly sold what seemed like Chinsese "seconds" scooters with many problems. Nobody carried much of a selection so when I upgraded to a 150 cc scoot that I could afford, I ended up buying off the internet. From what I have been hearing it sounds like Grand Rapids Scooters is a good place to deal with and I wish them luck and hope to use them when needed.

We are currently talking to a few dealers in the Grand Rapids area, so hopefully Bintelli scooters will be available there soon!
