Ok So i took my scooter to get the state inspection yesterday, it didn't past because the front shocks where not returning the bike like they suppose to, on any other bike, and i know this because i had many bikes before and a few scooters as well, at the time of the inspection they require you to push the bike forward and lock the front brake to see the damping of the front forks, on this scooter they didnt the bike stayed down, so they failed the safety inspection, any body else who has one of this Chinese scooter have had any issues with the forks, do i have to call the dealer and have them send me a set of forks? any help will be greatly appreciated. Hello,
Asside from my shocks jolting me with every bump I hit the problem your having is something I haven' heard of.
First, honey draws more flys than viniger. Phone them and e-mails are good if possible as a written corrospondence (documentation helps).
Let them know whats up. If they send the replacement part and yous pass the inspection then problem is solved.
IF THEY POLITLY TELL YOU TO PISS OFF or start really jerking you around with unreasonable responsibilty and cost to you concerning S&H, burden of proof on your part beyond a copy of the inspectors FAIL letter then cram it down their throat as follows.
Tell them that you will contact the state police in their state and that you will send the state police a copy of your FAIL report. The state police is pretty much the D.O.T. enforcer.
Also let them know that you will contact their local police and sherrifs department and give them a copy of the FAIL report. They have a responsibilty to protect the community and the sales of faulty vehicles is something they need to look into..... If the dealer continues the sale of faulty vehicles.
This will put their business under a great deal of scuitiny / absorb their time / hault sales / etc. possibly - they don't want that headache.
I they don't treat your purchase seriously and remidy the problem then follow through with the threat of legal retaliation.
Hope this helps --- remeber, be nice and give them a chance to remidy the problem in a timely manor.

Spray some silicon on the tubes and work them up and down and see if that helps.

Check the oil level in the forks and you may need a heavier weight
