I found putting a valve extender on the air valve made it easier for me to check the tire presure, etc. It was $3.00 for 4 of the long ones. I do not leave it on the tire and it only takes 15 seconds to put it on and take it off.
I have the Roketa MC-62 (Vog-260) with 13" tires front and rear.
Has anyone ever switched the front out to a 14"?
I know there could be an issue with the disc brakes and possible (of all things) the speedometer.
This is just a "head game" right now. I have 2000 miles on my current tires and they are in real good shape.
Thanks for any comments.

Get Avon Viper Stryke tires . I finally got to look at some in person and tada the shop also had my current tire beside it to compare . The AVS had more of a flat surface with way more tread making contact with the road as the stock tires where more rounded . I really love the ride of a 130/60/13 over my 16s on my 150s and light years better than old scooter with 10s that was so unstable is was stunt driving

I've got a 260 and had a worn rear tire w cl;ose to 9000 miles on it. A scooter store put on a Viper tire. It wore out in under 3000 miles the original lasted close to 9000 miles. The Viper rubber is soft. I replaced it with a Kenda from Bike Bandit. Just noting here. Max

so are you recommending a tire you do not own and have never used on a 250 scooter? what 250 do you ride?
avons vipers are known to be soft and fast wearing, a Michelin pilot gives a good ride without being soft and burning up quickly. they been good on 54b and vog, i like kenda and shinko nylon tires too, the ride suffers a bit, but they last a bit longer, and the roads leave a bit to be desired, and the front springs on the 54b are a tad stiff, so a slightly crappier ride from a long lasting tire isnt really a big deal to me.

How about a Michelin Sport SC or Pirellis ? The Avons look so much better with the wider contact area but I had no idea they were that soft . I got 8,200 miles out of a 16 CST with lots of top speed and passenger ride time . Maybe you can go up a size wider tire . Here is a visual calculator to compare two sizes at once www.tacomaworld.com/forum/tirecalc.php

havent tired all the pirellis but the ones i have burn up fairly quickly on my motorcycle never tired them on my scooters, but are a must for max grip sticking it in the corners, and riding past the chicken strips on to the rim far beyond the limits of a scooter.
i prefer a full dome tire, new mexico mountains have lots of high speed curves and your chicken strip is only about an inch wide, the squarer tires are nice on long flat rides but give up a bit in the turns, if the sport sc holds up and handles like the pilot it would be a fine tire.
