I'm a little stumped. I replaced my regulator/rectifier to help correct a charging system problem (it wasn't). That issue seems better, but now my left turn signal won't turn off. Not sure if they can be related. Doesn't seem likely.
I tore into it last night disconnected the switch thinking that was the most obvious place to start, but it kept blinking. Next was the flasher. I pulled that and it does stop. It doesn't seem as though a bad flasher would really be the cause of this though, usually a bad flasher would just stick open or closed (my experience anyway). Is there a relay between the switch and the flasher? That would explain it.
I did do a check on the wire going to the flasher and of the three wires the center one is hot.

Any advice is appreciated.

This may sound stupid, did you push the button "inward"? You push the button right or left to activate the blinker and push it "in" to turn them off.

If pushing in the flasher doesn't stop it I would change out the Flasher, they CAN cause no blinking or all lights on or nothing. Check how many connectors it has on it 2 or 3 and go to the Auto Parts store and get one with the same number of connectors and make sure it is 12V because they have them in 6V as well. Wile

Yep, I tried turning the blinker off about 1000 times, but good to rule out the obvious. I will try a new flasher tonight, hope it works or I'm back to square one again.
This scooter is getting to be a real pain in the you know what.

Put the new flasher on it tonight, and it works again. Could they use more screw to hold the thing together?
