Does anyone know why some china 250cc (MC-D54 250cc) can not be shipped to Florida?

Is it from one dealer or ALL dealers, some do not want to pay for the license to sell certain scoots. Or is the restriction coming from the DMV then ask them why, it may be they do not have something on them that they require the scoot to have. Wile

Florida requires a proper MCO/Title and bill of sale. 250's in the United States tend to be from 08 or earlier. Chances are they don't have the proper stuff.

Florida is no differenet than most all of the states, You need an MCO and Bill of Sale so they can tack on the taxes, most also require you to have insurance as well. You pay for the license plates or whatever, then on top of that some counties require their own stickers on the license plate. The DMV take the MCO and send you the Title. Wile

I had no trouble getting my JMStar Bali 150 and also my Linhai Mainstreet 300 titled here in Tennessee. Also when we vacationed in Panama City last year, I noticed that the scooter rental businesses rented lots of Chinese scooters. However most were 150cc of less. Still if the paperwork is in order, I don't think Florida will refuse to title and tag the bikes. Might want to use another dealer or pick another bike, but you should be able to get it done. Good luck.

any new bike would only require an MSO and bill of sale. Been selling bikes for a few years and its always been the same for "new" bikes. Not much different than used bikes besides the seller already having the title.
