hey there. I have got a question maybe someone can answer. I just checked the transmission fluid in my 86 honda ch80 elite. and it was a milky light yellowish color. is that normal? this is my first scooter, and i've only known transmission fluid to be red. but thats having only dealt with cars in my past. . . any answers are much needed. thanks.

If your Honda is water-cooled then you've definitely got a leak somewhere. If you're lucky, it's nothing more than a seal, and in my experience, solely with car engines, I'm a new scooter owner myself, seals that cause those kinds of leaks can be replaced with manila folder paper. Don't quote me on that (anyone! lol), anyway you stretch it try first with justbuggin's advice. If it's air cooled then I'm clueless. Good luck and let us know!
