Howdy Dawgs,
I was wanting to change the stock mirrors that comes on my Linhai Aeolus 300 however I have looked on here and have some some topics cocnerning this project but I have a question; does anyone here know if the mirrors on the Linhai are 8mm or 10 mm threading?
Also if anyone has bought some of the same maybe they could tell me where they got them. I only want mirrors that reach up and out a bit more, when I look at the stock ones I keep seeing me ha ha, no need in that.
Thanks, chuckb1448

I'm quite certain that theyre 8mm but some have reverse threading or standard. You can always buy a pack of mirror adapters from ebay fairly cheap and will have both sets of each size.

I had my local bike shop order a pair. No reverse threads on the Linhai.

My 2008 Aeolus 300 uses 10mm mirrors, both right-hand thread. Bought some longer-armed replacements off eBay about a week ago, and they're working fine. Just remember, the longer the stem, the more they're affected by vibration!

Thanks guys,
Brent which ones did you buy on Ebay if you do not mind telling me? Are they metal or plastic? I have the 2008 as well so one would assume that I would need the 10mm as well, but with a chine scoot their is no certainty.

Here are ones like I ordered: www.ebay.com/itm/400305764877They're chromed plastic with metal arms, so they are like the stock mirrors. They're good, not great, but get the job done. The long arms vibrate enough at high speeds that you can't read a license plate behind you, but you can at least tell there's a vehicle there! Brent
