My brake lever wasn't returning all the way out to the position it's suppose to. That was making the brake lights stay on weather I was using the brakes or not (Dangerous). So I decided to try and bleed the brakes, thought maybe that would help. I opened the reservoir, opened the bleeder valve, depressed the lever, closed the bleeder valve. The lever just stayed down . So I siphoned the nasty looking brake fluid out of the master cylinder (had a bunch of black residue in the last bit). I disconnected the master cylinder all together and tried to use an align wrench to push the plunger back, it was HARD to push back. So I figured what do I have to lose. I sprayed a BUNCH of WD40 in there and >pop< the handle returned almost instantly. Took forever to get the air bubbles out of it. But now it works like a charm. I think I'm going to do the same thing to the other side just for good measure. And to think, I almost threw it away to buy a new one Hope this info saves someone else some money too ;D

Chinese brake fluid does tend to gum up..get cloudy and corrode the brake piston. We drain them...add U.S. DOT3 fluid....just be careful..DOT3 fluid eats plastic fast!!!

Yea, So my whole WD-40 thing only worked for a day It's acting up again. I think I'm going to try and rebuild it depending on the price of the cup and weather I can find it. When it's empty and I put oil (3in1/WD40) in it, it works fine. But as soon as I put brake fluid in it, it doesn't return all the way. I'm definitely gonna have to fix that, with what little $ I have.
