hello, I was wondering how long an ignition switch should last. On my '08 250B I replaced the switch about 1 1/2yr. ago. Now, I have to put the key in and jiggle the crap out of it to get it to work. I took the plastics off before I replaced it the first time and all the connections were good, so i just went ahead and replaced it. Now this one is acting up. Anyone else having these problems with the switch? thanks, Jim

Have you check your ignition coil, make sure the spark plug cap is tight and making contact with your spark plug. What switch are you taking about, can you show pic, is it where your putting your key? I'd say your loosing concect somewhere, check your CDI and ground wires.

yes, it's where i put the key in. When i turn the key to on my gauges light up. I turn the key to on and now have to jiggle the key until the gauges light up and then she'll start.

There has to be a wire not making good contact, can you unplug that switch, if so check all those contacts to see if there is any loose ones.

I have a new Linhai Aeolus 300 and my switch has been bad since the day it arrived.(2 months ago)Same probles as yours.I could switch it of and on 20 times or so and the power would come back.I also could reach the back of the switch and wiggle the wires and it would come back on.Then that all stopped completly so I ordered a new switch from Sunright and recieved the wrong one.I have been down for 2 weeks now and I cant get Sunright on the phone to return the wrong switch. I am so fustrated I could scream.I want to ride.
