My left brake has to be squeezed almost to the handle to work. How can I adjust the brake so it engages sooner on my 150 TKA 3-wheel scooter?

Sounds like the brake fluid is low in the left master cylinder and/or you have air in the line that needs to be bled.

Here is a link to how to bleed your brakes. It shows the right master cylinder being done but it is the same process for the left master cylinder. It is easier with two people. Remember, use lots of towel to protect the bodywork of your trike as brake fluid will eat plastic body panels and paint. Also, if you do squeeze the brake handle with the mater cylinder cover off, DO IT SLOWLY!! If not the fluid will geyser out like "Old Faithful". scootdawg.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=steeringissue&action=display&thread=21658

The left brake handle? Does your bike have rear disc brakes or drum? If theyre drum than you can adjust them from the rear tension spring.

inkeyben; the 150 TKA is discs all around. (reverse trike) The left handle is a combo, front and rear. That may be a lot of bleedin'... ;D
