When I was in Florida I used GPS tracking on my Honda. It was a Zoombak tracking system. Had it wired to the battery to keep it charged. Best part is I never experienced the unit draining the battery as I rode it almost every day until my crash. Service was around $30 a month and it saved my bike when it was stolen a couple times, I just went to the place and got it back when they were not looking. My best story was I parked the bike, went in to the ice cream shop for a snack, went out and the bike was gone, so I used my phone for the location... idiot parked it in the alley behind the ice cream shop. Awesome. This is the reason I've been tempted to get service on a cheep android phone with texting and data and attach it to my scoot.
I've had my phone stolen and.luckily had the tracking software sending its location to my server at home for me.to track it and followed the Guy to his house where me and an off duty cop went and retrieved it. (Knowing cops and thieves is kinda funny)

I would have reported it stolen and then locate it with them with you. Then if the perp. is on the scooter then bad luck to them.
People got to learn to not steal!
But if you don't have the time then having it back is good enough.
