Hello,
Just joined the group. My IceBear 150cc Trike arrives Monday. I know there will be issues along the way but I joined because I expect to need help here and there.
My 12 year old car died 2 weeks ago and I thought buying a Chinese Scoot would, at least, be a little more reliable than buying a used car in my price range.
So thats my intro. Thank you in advance for your support.

Update: It is now Thursday and the IceBear Trike has still not arrived. Apparently, I am not much of a priority of the local shipping company even though my Trike has been 30 miles away for 7 days.

Has the only trouble been with the headlights? I read about that on another thread. Annoying, yes, but not an insurmountable problem. Hope you get that resolved.

Update: The Trike arrived today. Everything took longer than expected so I was not ready to start it.
Have it all assembled but ran into some bugs. The battery cables were setup for the battery being on the other side and/or under the foot rest. So the battery cables are to short. After some reworking, I can get the positive cable to reach but I don't think I was given terminal screws. Guess I will have to run an extension for the Neg. Need to figure out the guage of the cables.
Also, another "bug?" I couple of my vacuum lines just end. Thought they came loose but I cannot find anything that looks like a vac line receptacle close the where the lines end. One of them is the line that comes out of the top of the air filter.
Clearly, the dealer did NOT do a PDI as promoted.

Think about it, whoever you ordered it from may just be a suite taking orders. They never see even the crate it comes in. And even if they actually are a B&M dealer, not many will UNCRATE the scoot put it together and adjust and start it up then break it down again and crate it and then ship it to you. That takes hours and labor and they are not about to do that. The PDI was done in china and good luck with that.
But anyway Parker, take pictures of the hoses you are concerned about and we will tell you where they belong. Wile

Got it running today. Apparently, the loose hoses were some sort of Vent Hoses. Found a work-around for the short battery cables.
