Well the other day the weather was so great I rode 3 counties away as I just wanted to keep on riding . I got sunburned but not enough to go to ER . I went to CVS dang sunscreen costs too much . I bought some spray with aloe for burns and CVS brand of SPF50 spray ( I hate greasy oils as why I got spray ) . I wish I had some sunscreen on BEFORE I went out . I have to lay out in the Sun as now I have a crazy farmer tan and reverse raccoon tan on my face since I wear glasses .
So do not forget to put on sunscreen and the higher the SPF number the more it protects you

Yes aloe is great I have plants and put cuttings in the fridge . Spray is less greasy and not as much of a dirt magnet while riding . I use aloe at home and its better chilled . I also chill eye drops too

If your wearing the full set of proper riding gear as you should when ever you ride, sunscreen is unnecessary

I agree to a point..... at 110+ degrees and 90% humidity.....nobody is riding with ATGATT. Not even Police... A very good theory indeed but, Just go for a 3min ride around 3 o'clock if ya need proof. Safety first of course but, Dehydration becomes an issue........ Some states don't have helmet laws BTW.. No matter how hot the temp i never leave any skin exposed while riding and i allways wear a full helmet even though its not a law in my state

That's cool !!!! (no pun intended) Ride safe and always watch out for the other guy/gal. Have some sunscreen on hand incase you end up riding to the beach or local outdoor hangout. Still a good tip IMO. I'd rather not have another bad sunburn ever. JMO ( you never went for a quick trip in shorts?? or without a jacket??? EVER???) Never my Dad would kill me if i didnt take the proper safety measures , btw he says hello and wishes you well
