My scooter is making rattling noise when i ride down the street. i put it on the center stand and the rear wheel bearings seem to be bad. Is this right?

Is the bearing your talking about in your swing arm This is where your axle comes through and at the end your axle nut, or are you talking about the CVT area?

I wonder if it could be the muffler loose or the gas tank?

when you apply the rear brake does the noise go away?

I have a 260 and had a simular problem. Found the variator splines were worn down causing the noise. Additionally the splines on the crank had some wear and I found this before major problems would have been worse. I'm glad I did find it because the scooter runs better than ever. Max
