For the past couple weeks I have been searching the internet on ways to get a little more speed out of my little 50cc 2 stroke scooter. I really only need to go 35. Going faster wont hurt but that is my target. This scooter is completely stock. Now I have seen that you need to remove the exhaust restrictor, and the washer that restricts the speed as well. The other part is I can not find parts for this scooter any where. It is almost as it does not exist. It is a Chinese scooter and Sinski still makes scooters but not this model anymore. I have not removed any of the restrictions yet. Just wondering if anyone knows anything about this particular scooter? About parts? About the restrictors? or anything else for that matter. The other problem I have is that when ever I hit a bump the steering starts shaking as if I am going to lose the control but it is not me. Its like a wobble when you are on a bicycle and you start to lose control. If I muscle it a little bit it calms down. It is very annoying and I do not see on the front end where I should tighten something or if something broke it does look to me like there is no spacer on the other side of the front wheel but I am not quite sure. Any answers?

Hi,welcome to the forum......the engine # is stamped on the case at the l/r it should go something like this 1PE40QMB please try to locate this # and let the forum know..a picture is always good also..these chinese scooters are quite common in assembly..engine parts are available from many sources..see the banners at the top of the pages just click on one to go to their site...all you should need is to remove the restrictor in your variator if one is there, and maybe in your exhaust if one is there...then we can start with lighter rollers for the variator, etc, for even more speed if you desire it..again...welcome aboard

Also any suggestions out the front wheel wobbling? Also I will get a picture of the scooter up soon.

HI its left rear l/r ....the wheel shake sounds like the front fork is loose...its held together by an adjustable nut...please read some of the how to and info threads that 90GTVert has made for us and posted here...they are very good and after you watch one a time or two you should be able to accomplish most anything...http://scootdawg.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=mechanics good luck, and keep us posted...Jon

So there's a little problem this scooter is chain driven...took the exhaust no restriction there so we are putting a bigger jet in now. We shall see what happens. And I fixed the wheel wobble just needed to be tightened a little.

This is what the scooter looks like. I have taken the air box out an put an open filter on there. I drilled out the old jet since there was no restrictors any where. It seems to bog out every once in a while. I still can only reach about 30 mph. It seems like there is some kind of rev limiter on it but I am not sure where it is. Any help? It is a 1e41qmb
