Been trying to google search this one down. Having very little luck . It seems as though I have no spark now and hopefully we can narrow this one down a bit. The bike is a 260 Diamo Vog clone. It was running 70 Mph without WOT and got there nice and smooth. Next day when taken out for a spin, the throttle started to break up around 45mph. To the point where it sounded as though the CDI was mis firing or I had run out of gas. Between 0-45 Mph she was running SMOOOTH. At 45mph, like clockwork it will stop accelerating, start breaking up and hang at 45mph even when WOT. THE NEXT DAY No spark. None at all. Tried a different CDI (not 100% its the right one from scrappydog) no luck either. These are my Readings from the PLUG TO THE CDI with the cdi unplugged. --------^^--------- ( 1 )( 2 ) ( 3 )( 4 ) ( 5 )( 6 ) ( 7 )( 8 ) --------------------- 1: Empty 2: Black/White - 0vDC/AC while cranking - Open Line Ohm Test 3: Purple - 0vAC/12vDC while cranking - .9ohms key off - Open Line with key ON 4: Empty 5: Empty 6: Blue/Yellow .8vDC/.17vAC while cranking - Open Line Ohm Test 7: Black 0vDc/Ac while cranking - .2 ohms test 8: Orange 0vAc/12vDC while cranking - 4.7 Ohms key off - Open Line with key ON I'm thinking maybe someone knows this plug better then I do because I haven't found anything solid online to use for reference.

I don't think that I can answer your question about the CDI but I can suggest that you check the coil that produces the spark itself. Remember the the CDI is the device that creates the signal that produces the spark at the coil. Check for loose grounds. Pull the plug and check the condition. These are things that can help diagnose the problem as well.
If you can profuse speed to 45, then I would look at fuel delivery.

The fuel system had a good cleaniut. I was leaning more towards ignition because of my gradual speed decrease to complete loss of spark

Could be a bad ignition coil. I was good until I got 5o+ it would act like it was running out out gas, I had to pull over and took some crank to get started again, go 1 or 2 mile start all over again. in my case it was the coil.
